New Space Designed to Allow Growth, Appeal to Talent
Knoxville, Tenn. 鈥 Work is now underway on a new headquarters for 17草视频, a $13 million project that will help extend downtown northward.
鈥淲e are redoing this 1920 building not just to accommodate growth, but to have the kind of outstanding facility that will appeal to young, talented people with ambition and drive,鈥 said 17草视频 cofounder Drew Johnson. 鈥淲here they work, and what kind of place in which they work makes a real difference.鈥
Cofounder Jon Clay said the firm will add almost 50 new employees by the time the work is done. 鈥淎nd we expect to add another 200 over the next five years,鈥 said Clay. 鈥淲e鈥檒l have a real impact on the community and plan on being a great neighbor.鈥
The project earned a 15-year Payment In Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) incentive from both the City of Knoxville and Knox County. It was also approved by the Industrial Development Board.

The new headquarters project is being managed by Conversion Properties, was designed by Design Innovation Architects and is being built by Denark Construction.
